The Goal: Re-send a previously sent event invitation to the contacts who have not yet responded, using the event’s built-in Re-Send Event Invite option.
Before You Begin:
- You need permission to manage events and send communications.
- An event invite must already have been sent at least once — this feature re-sends to recipients who have “Not Responded Yet.”
Microlearning Overview
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Events & Learning, Events section, click All Events, and open the event you want to re-send the invite for.
-
From any tab in the event, click the three dots in the bar to the right of the event name and select “Re-Send Event Invite.”
-
The Send Email window will open. The software will look to your previously sent email and create a group of those that have “Not Responded Yet”, as shown in the image below.
The Send Email screen will automatically populate the subject line with “Event Invite”; you may change this to better describe your event. The message will default to the Event Invite template, used when you sent the initial invite.
- Edit the email or template to meet your specific needs.
- If you want to schedule the email to be sent at a future date, enter a date in the Delay Delivery Until text box.
- Click Send to send the email (or Schedule if sending on a future date).
Common Pitfalls
- Re-sending to everyone: This feature targets only recipients who have “Not Responded Yet.” Confirm the auto-built recipient group before sending so you don’t accidentally re-invite people who already responded.
