The Goal: Register and pay for one or more event attendees on an event registration form when you are not attending the event yourself.
Before You Begin:
The GrowthZone registration form was designed with the assumption that one of the attendees or their organization would be paying, but this is not always the case. Use the steps below when the payer is not one of the attendees.
- Have the contact information ready for yourself (the payer) and for each attendee you are registering.
- If the registration type you want to use is Members Only, you must be verified as a member yourself in order to use it.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Access the event registration form.
Enter your (the payer) contact information into the My Information fields.
Select the quantity of attendees you wish to register.
For each attendee, use the dropdown menu to either select someone other than yourself, or use the < Someone else > option to enter a new name and email for that attendee.

When it comes time for the Payment Information, make sure that your name is selected in the Bill To dropdown.
Common Pitfalls
- Leaving your own name in the Bill To dropdown unchecked: Be sure your name is selected in the Bill To dropdown. This ensures the invoice or payment receipt goes to you, the payer, rather than to one of the attendees.
