The Goal: Run the Fair Housing Completed Report to identify agents who have completed their required training courses for the current period, including each completion date and cycle.
Before You Begin:
- You need access to the Reports area in your GrowthZone database.
NOTE: Only the PRIMARY board is the recording entity/authority and can determine if an agent has completed the NAR Code of Ethics Requirement — this report will NOT pull data for secondary agents.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To report on those who have completed training:
- Click Reports in the left-hand rail.
-
Use the Quick Filter
or the Customize Filter
to apply the Contacts category.
- Select the Fair Housing Completed Report.
- Select your search filtering criteria:
- Date Range: Enter the date range you’d like to see completed training. e.g. For Cycle 7 you would enter 01/01/2022 – 12/31/2024.
- Membership Status: are we looking for a member, a non-member, a dropped member, etc?
-
Membership Type: Select your Realtor® membership types.
- Affiliate membership can be excluded as they are not required to take COE.
- Secondary memberships can also be excluded as they are meeting the requirement by the primary Realtor® Association.
- Membership Level: are we looking for a list of agents with a specific membership level?
- Membership Category: if you have several membership types under a certain category, you can use this filter to report on them as a group rather than selecting them individually under the Membership Type filter.
- Tags: does the contact contain a specific tag or tags?
- State/Province: does the contact have a specific state/province in their address?
- (Optional) Enter any Additional Criteria/Filters as needed. Click the small plus
on the left to add additional criteria/filters. We don't need any additional criteria for this report, so this will remain empty.
- (Optional) Select Display Options. The report is set up with default fields to display; you may add or remove fields by clicking on the Fields to Display drop-down arrow and searching or scrolling for the field you want to include. To add a field to the display options, enable the checkbox to the left of the field name. You may wish to add the “M1 ID” field.
- (Optional) Select Summarize By criteria. This optional field allows you to select how you wish report results grouped. (Summarize options are listed alphabetically in the dropdown, but recently/commonly used selections will "stick" to the top of the list.) You may wish to select “Primary Business” in order to group the results by the office that the agent belongs to. This will allow you to better assist the brokers with their office.
- Click Run Report.
How to See if Courses Have Synced to M1
A column is available in the Fair Housing Completed Report called "Synced to M1". The Real Estate Error Log shows errors for any education items in the Education tab. From the Education tab, it can be tough to know which class/training the errors are associated with, so we recommend using the best practice option of using the Fair Housing Completed Report with the Synced to M1 column. This report provides a class-by-class view of whether the sync to M1 has been successful.
Where to find it:
- Access the Fair Housing Completed report.
-
Under Fields to Display, add Synced to M1.

Common Pitfalls
- Including secondary agents: Only the PRIMARY board can determine NAR Code of Ethics completion. Exclude secondary memberships when filtering by Membership Type, since they meet the requirement through their primary Realtor® Association.
- Date range too narrow: Make sure your Date Range spans the full cycle you are reporting on (e.g., 01/01/2022 – 12/31/2024 for Cycle 7), or completed agents will be missing from the results.
