The Goal: Understand how adds and changes to agent secondary records flow from the M1 sub queue into GrowthZone, and which records get processed based on how your Association ID compares to the Association ID in each record.
Before You Begin:
- This behavior applies to associations using the M1 integration (Real Estate Edition).
- Know your Association ID so you can determine which secondary records will be processed.
- To process secondary records where you are NOT the POE, your association must have Process/Import Other Active Association(s) enabled in your Real Estate settings.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Adds and changes to agent secondary records are published to the POE sub queue of the member's primary local and state associations. While M1 may place member secondary records of agents for which you are not the POE, GrowthZone will process records that are specific to your association. Secondary records are processed by comparing the Association ID, Agent M1 ID, Office ID, and Member Type.
Which records are processed depends on whether your Association ID matches the Association ID in the record.
Your Association ID matches the Association ID in the record
- When the agent's M1 ID is found in GrowthZone, as well as the Office ID and Member Type, all values described in the table below will be changed.
- When the agent's M1 ID is found in GrowthZone, but the Office ID and Member Type are NOT: if the member status is A (active), this record will be added to GrowthZone.
Your Association ID does not match the Association ID in the record
- (Coming Soon) If you have enabled Process/Import Other Active Association(s) under your Real Estate Settings, secondary member records, where you are NOT the POE will be processed into GrowthZone from the sub-queue. An additional section, called Other Active Associations will be displayed on the Real Estate tab. This section is read only, and will display the Association ID of the additional active secondary records. If we receive an update that the additional secondary record has become inactive, it will be removed from the list.
- If Process/Import Other Active Association(s) under your Real Estate Settings is NOT enabled, if your Association ID does not match the Association ID in the record, this record will not be processed in GrowthZone.
The table below describes the fields that will be added or updated for a secondary agent record.
FIELD NAME
AGENT M1 ID
ASSOCIATION ID
OFFICE ID
MEMBER TYPE
AGENT LICENSE
AGENT STATUS
STATUS CHANGE DATE
SUBCLASS
LOCAL JOIN DATE
BILLING DISCOUNT FLAG
Common Pitfalls
- Expecting non-POE records to import without the setting enabled: If Process/Import Other Active Association(s) is not enabled and your Association ID does not match the record, the record will not be processed. Enable the setting first if you need these records.
- Assuming a mismatched Office ID or Member Type triggers an update: When your Association ID matches but the Office ID and Member Type do not, the record is only added (when status is active) — not updated. Verify the Office ID and Member Type match before expecting existing values to change.
