Follow this chronological path to master event management. Please complete the modules in order. Each link opens a short video tutorial; PDF handouts are linked where available.
Module 1: The Basics — Setup
Configure your global event settings before you build your first event. These settings live under Events & Learning, Events section, Settings. (Est. Time: 25 mins)
Module 2: Event Setup
Create and configure individual events from Events & Learning, Events section. (Est. Time: 20 mins)
Module 3: Setting Up Registration (the Attendee Setup tab)
Build your registration options and types on the Attendee Setup tab of the event detail page. (Est. Time: 35 mins)
Module 4: Event Communications
Set up automated messages and manage outbound communications for your event. (Est. Time: 20 mins)
Module 5: Managing Registrations
Match, edit, and check in registrations as they come in. (Est. Time: 25 mins)
Module 6: Managing Invoicing/Payments
Send invoices, apply payments, and handle refunds and credits from the Attendee Purchases tab. (Est. Time: 25 mins)
Module 7: Cancel/Postpone an Event
Postpone or cancel an event — automatically or manually — and process any refunds or credits. (Est. Time: 20 mins)

- NOTE: Whether the event is cancelled, or an attendee is only cancelling their registration, the process for creating refunds or credits is the same!
