The Goal: Review the communications that have been sent to a list/committee and send a new email to that list/committee directly from the Communication tab.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to view lists/committees and their communication history.
- To send email from GrowthZone, confirm your email settings are configured.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Contacts, click All Lists/Committees, then open the list/committee you want to review.
- Select the Communication tab. From here you can review any communications that have been sent to the list/committee.
You can also send emails to any list/committee from this tab:
- Clicking the Send Email tab in the upper right corner will open a Send Email window where you can send the message right from GrowthZone. See Send Emails for more information.
- Clicking the Open Email Client button will open a new message window using your computer's default email program (Outlook, etc.). The GroupID of the list/committee with automatically populate in the To line.
Common Pitfalls
- Choosing the wrong send method: Use Send Email to send from inside GrowthZone (and keep a record on the Communication tab); use Open Email Client only if you intend to send from your own email program, where the message will not be tracked in GrowthZone.
