The Goal: Cap the number of registrants for an event by setting an attendee limit in the event’s Attendee Setup.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff permission to edit events.
- Have the event created and the maximum number of attendees you want to allow decided on.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Events & Learning, Events section, click All Events.
- Open the event you want to set a limit on.
- Click the Attendee Setup tab.
- In the Overall Registration Options section, set your attendee limit. See Overall Registration Options for instructions.
- Click Save to finalize your changes.
Common Pitfalls
- Forgetting to save: The limit is not enforced until you save the Attendee Setup; leaving the page without saving discards the change.
