Update Fundraiser Campaign Details

The Goal: Update the details of an existing fundraiser campaign — including its title, description, goals, start/end dates, and status.

Before You Begin:

  • You need access to the Fundraising area, with permission to edit campaigns.
  • Have the fundraiser campaign you want to update already created.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.

  3. Click Edit Campaign.

Update Fundraiser Title

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.
  3. Click Edit Campaign.
  4. Make desired changes to the Campaign Name field.
  5. Click Done.

Update Fundraiser Description

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.
  3. Click Edit Campaign.
  4. Make the desired changes to the description.
  5. Click Done.

Update Fundraiser Goals

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.
  3. Click Edit Campaign.
  4. Make desired changes to the Goals of the fundraiser.
  5. Click Done.

Update Fundraiser Start/End Date

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.
  3. Click Edit Campaign.
  4. Make desired changes to the Start/End Dates of the fundraiser.
  5. Click Done.

 NOTE: Submissions will no longer be accepted after the set End Date.

Complete/Cancel a Fundraiser

  1. Go to Revenue, click Fundraising. The Fundraising module will display all of your fundraising campaigns.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the desired fundraiser.
  3. Click Edit Campaign.
  4. Select the desired option from the Fundraising Status list.
  5. Click Done.

Common Pitfalls

  • Forgetting to click Done: Changes to the campaign are not saved until you click Done. Navigating away from Edit Campaign first will discard your edits.
  • Setting an End Date in error: Submissions will no longer be accepted after the set End Date, so confirm the date before saving.
