The Goal: Rename a user-created folder in Cloud Drive.
Before You Begin:
- You may rename only folders you have created. System-generated folders cannot be renamed.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Home, My workspace section, click Cloud Drive.
- Click the ellipsis of the folder that you wish to rename.
- Click Rename. The folder name field becomes editable.
- Enter the new name for the folder.
- Left-click to save the changes.
Common Pitfalls
- Rename not available on system folders: The ellipsis menu for system-generated folders will not show a Rename option. Only user-created folders can be renamed.
- Name not saving: After typing the new name, you must left-click outside the field to save. Pressing Escape will cancel the rename.
