The Goal: Confirm that your GrowthZone Pay payment gateway has been fully verified so that it is no longer on hold and you can receive payouts.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to the Finance/Billing settings to view payment gateway status.
- Your GrowthZone Pay (Stripe) gateway must already be set up; this article only verifies its status.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Until the payment gateway has been properly verified it may be on hold, preventing you from receiving payouts. To verify the status of the gateway setup:
- Click Settings in the left-hand rail.
Go to Finance, Billing section, click Settings and select Payment Gateways.
- In the Additional Information column, you will see the following to indicate the status of the gateway:
- Verification Complete: This will indicate (yes/no) if the required verification by Stripe & GrowthZone have been completed.
- Charges Enabled: This will indicate (yes/no) whether charges may be processed through the gateway.
- Transfers Enabled: This will indicate (yes/no) whether transfers to your bank account have been enabled.
- Bank Account: This will indicate (yes/no) whether your bank account information has been successfully verified.
| NOTE: When the gateway is verified, an email notification will be sent to those staff who have subscribed to the GrowthZone Pay Account Update Completed. |
Common Pitfalls
- Assuming the gateway is active before verification finishes: If Verification Complete, Charges Enabled, Transfers Enabled, or Bank Account still show "no," the gateway is on hold and you will not receive payouts. Complete any outstanding Stripe verification before relying on the gateway.
