- Decide the exact code text registrants will enter. The code is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as it displays in the event.
Step-by-Step Instructions
A Promo Code provides a discount if the registrant enters the code on the registration form. If selected, the registration form will automatically add a field for the code.
- Go to Events & Learning, Events section, and open the event you want to add the discount to.
In the event’s registration setup, choose Promo Code as the discount type. The registration form will automatically add a field for the code.
- Enter the code text and the discount amount, then save the event. Remember that the code is case-sensitive and must be entered exactly as it displays in the event.
Common Pitfalls
- Reusing a code within one event: You cannot use the same promo code multiple times in a single event — each promo code needs to be different.
- Case mismatch: The code is case-sensitive. If a registrant types it with different capitalization than it displays in the event, the discount will not apply.
