The Goal: Duplicate an existing form or survey so you can reuse its layout and questions as the starting point for a new one.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to Forms/Surveys.
- Identify the existing form or survey you want to copy.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Marketing & Communication, Communication section, click Forms/Surveys.
In the Forms module, in the Actions column, click the ellipsis
for the form you wish to copy and select Copy Form.
A window will appear asking “Are you sure you want to Copy”; click OK to confirm you wish to make a copy.
The form will be displayed in your list of forms, named Copy of...
Common Pitfalls
- Editing the wrong form: The copy is created with the name “Copy of...”. Rename it before editing so you don’t accidentally change the original.
