The Goal: Understand how an event registration is organized in GrowthZone so you can confidently manage both the attendee information and the financial details tied to each registration.
Before You Begin:
- You need access to the event whose registrations you want to review (Events permissions).
- Open the event record in Events & Learning, Events section, so the registration detail tabs are available.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Understand the structure: technically, an event registration consists of attendee information and financial information related to the registration. While they are tightly entwined, we’ve separated them onto two separate tabs to make it easier to manage. You can see in this image that while each tab has some overlapping content, the majority of the information is unique to either the attendee or the financial details, depending on the tab:
- Use the Attendees tab to address the registration itself—registration ID, names, etc. Use the Attendee Purchases tab for the financial aspect of the registration: invoices, payments, and so on.
- If you have the Sponsors/Ads module and/or the Expo Module, you will also see registration and financial details for sponsors and exhibitors on those respective tabs.
-
Sort any registration list as needed:
NOTE: As with most of the tables within the software, clicking on the column header will sort the table by that column.
Common Pitfalls
- Looking for financial details on the wrong tab: Attendee names and registration IDs live on the Attendees tab, while invoices and payments live on the Attendee Purchases tab. If you can’t find the information you expect, confirm you’re on the correct tab before assuming data is missing.
