The Goal: Know when GrowthZone Pay money reaches your bank, find the automatic deposits GrowthZone creates for each transfer, and change the bank account payouts go to.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to Finance; changing the bank account requires permission to manage payment gateways.
- Payouts are net of processing fees; to record fees in your accounting software, use the GrowthZone Pay reports.
When payouts reach your bank
- First payout: can take up to 7 days.
- After that: daily, usually made up of payments processed two days earlier for most US and Australia customers, and seven days earlier for other countries. For example, August 1 charges are deposited by August 3 (US and Australia) or August 8 (other countries).
- Delays: banks can take 2–3 extra days to post funds, and transfers scheduled on weekends or holidays post the next business day. Some new US and Australia accounts start on a 7-day schedule while business activity is reviewed.
- Weekly or monthly payouts: contact GrowthZone Support. Fees are taken at the same frequency as payouts.
- Schedules vary by country; see Stripe’s payout schedule.
Automatic deposits in GrowthZone
For each GZ Pay transfer, GrowthZone creates a deposit automatically, with separate deposits for bank account (ACH) payments and card payments. These show Created by System Administrator and the note Automatic Deposit on the deposits list.
- Go to Finance, Billing section, click All Deposits.
- Click the number in the Count of Deposits column to see the transactions in that deposit.
NOTE: The amount you receive in your bank is the transfer total minus processing fees. To see the fees, use the GZ Pay Transfers Details Report.
Change the deposit bank account
- Go to Finance, Administrative section, click Billing Settings and select Payment Gateways.
- In the Actions column for your GrowthZone Pay gateway, click Edit.
- In the Bank Accounts section, click the edit icon and complete Add/Edit Bank Account. Click OK.
- Click Done on Edit Payment Gateway, then reopen the gateway to check the new account saved.
Common Pitfalls
- Deposit is less than the payments: processing fees are deducted before payout.
- First payout hasn’t arrived: the first one can take up to 7 days.
- New bank account not used: check that the change saved on the gateway.
