Set up Store Page for Website

The Goal: Add a Store module/page to your GrowthZone-managed website so members and visitors can browse and purchase from your online store.

Before You Begin:

  • You need staff access to website/content management settings.
  • Decide on the relative path (the final portion of the store URL) and which template you want the store to use.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click Settings in the left-hand rail.
  2. Click Sites in the Website section.
  3. Click the Actions button for your website.

  4. Click Modules/Pages.

  5. On the Manage Sites Module page click Add Module.
  6. On the Add/Edit Site Module screen configure the following:
    • Site Module Type: Select Store from the drop-down list.
    • Enter the Title for the Module – this title will be displayed on your web-site.
    • Enter the Relative Path to your store. The relative path is the final portion of the URL. The system will automatically build the full path and display in the Entire URL setting once you have saved the page.
    • Select the Template you wish to use for your store from the drop-down list.
  7. Click Done.
  8. In the list of modules displayed, click the hyper-link for the store page you just created. Copy the URL for the store. You will next Add the Store to Your Website.

Common Pitfalls

  • Forgetting to copy the store URL: After clicking the store page hyper-link, copy the generated URL right away — you will need it for the next article, Add the Store to Your Website.
