The Goal: Schedule an email — sent to an individual or in bulk — to be delivered automatically at a later date and time, then review, edit, or cancel it before it sends.
Before You Begin:
- You can initiate an email from anywhere within GrowthZone that opens the Send Email window.
- Research shows that emails sent Tuesday through Thursday between 10am and 2pm are most likely to be opened — keep this in mind when choosing a delivery time.
| IMPORTANT: Regardless if the scheduled email is using a dynamic list tied to a report OR a static list, recipients will be those on the list at the time the email is sent out. |
Step-by-Step Instructions
Schedule an Email for Later Delivery
- Initiate an email from anywhere within GrowthZone so that the Send Email window opens.
In the Send Email window, click into the “Delay Delivery Until” option.

You can type in a date, or use the calendar icon to select a date and time for the email to be sent.

- Click the Schedule button, and the email will be queued up for delivery on the day/time specified.
You can always review, edit, or cancel the email prior to it being sent.
View / Edit / Delete a Scheduled Email
On the All Scheduled Emails page under Marketing & Communication, Communication section, you can view, edit, and delete scheduled emails prior to sending.

Click the Edit Email icon to view and edit the scheduled email. Click the Delete
icon to delete the scheduled email.
Common Pitfalls
- Accidentally sending immediately: If you remove the date from a previously scheduled email, the Schedule button changes to a Send button, and clicking it sends the email immediately. If you do not wish to send the email at all, hit “Cancel” and use the Delete
icon to delete the scheduled email so it is not sent.
