The Goal: Complete the foundational setup required before you begin building workflows in Marketing & Communication, Marketing Automation section.
Before You Begin:
- You need permission to create email templates and manage lists/committees.
- Know which email content and which audience (lists/committees) each planned campaign will target.
Several tasks in GrowthZone should be completed before you begin using your Marketing Automation module to create workflows.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- For each workflow, create the desired email templates to be used in your campaign. See Create and Manage Email Templates.
- For each workflow, specify or create the desired lists/committees as needed. See Lists/Committees.
- Once your templates and lists/committees are in place, go to Marketing & Communication, click Marketing Automation to begin building your workflows.
Common Pitfalls
- Starting a workflow with no email templates ready: A workflow can't send communications that don't exist yet. Build and finalize your email templates and target lists/committees first, then create the workflow.
