Add a Secondary Agent

The approach used to add a secondary record will depend on whether the agent currently exists in your GrowthZone database, with a valid M1 ID.

Note that even if the agent's office is NOT a secondary member in your association, the office must have a contact record in GrowthZone and there must be a M1 ID on the Real Estate tab of the office.

The agent already has an M1 ID in your database:

1. On the agent's Real Estate tab, click the pencil  icon in the Secondary Member(s) section.
    

   

    

2. Click Sync to M1.

   

3. Enter the M1 information. The fields indicated by an asterisk are required for a secondary (supplemental) record. See Data Sent to M1 for Secondary Records for further information about these fields.
   • M1 Status*: Use this field to indicate the Status of the Supplemental Record.
   • Office M1 ID*: Select the Office M1 ID, from the list, for the agent's secondary record. All offices to which this agent is associated will be displayed for selection.
   • Status: Select the desired member status, for this agent as it applies to the secondary record.
   • Member Type: Select the desired member type, as it applies to the secondary record.
   • Member Subclass: Select the desired member subclass.
   • Local Join Date: This field can be used to indicate when this agent joined this secondary association, office, etc.
   • Billing Discount: Indicate by Yes or No whether this secondary qualifies for a billing discount.
4. Click Done. No further interaction is required on your part. The secondary record will be synced to M1 automatically. All information described in Data Sent to M1 for Secondary Records will be sent.

The agent does NOT have an M1 ID in your GrowthZone database

1. On the agent's Real Estate tab, search M1 for the agent. See Search M1 for an Agent for instructions.
2. Click the matched contact. NOTE: If you are NOT the POE for this agent, and no match is found, you will NOT be able to add this secondary record to M1. You will need to determine why the agent is not already associated to his/her primary association within M1 before you can proceed.
3. Click the pencil icon in the Secondary Members section.
   • Click Sync to M1.

   • Office M1 ID*: Select the Office M1 ID, from the list, for the agent's secondary record. All offices to which this agent is associated will be displayed for selection.
   • Status: Select the desired member status, for this agent as it applies to the secondary record.
   • Member Type: Select the desired member type, as it applies to the secondary record.
   • Member Subclass: Select the desired member subclass.
   • Local Join Date: This field can be used to indicate when this agent joined this secondary association, office, etc.
   • Billing Discount: Indicate by Yes or No whether this secondary qualifies for a billing discount.
5. Click Done. No further interaction is required on your part. The secondary record will be synced to M1 automatically. All information described in Data Sent to M1 for Secondary Records will be sent.
