The Goal: Understand the decisions you’ll make with the GrowthZone team during the initial SentriLock integration setup, so your lockbox IDs and status syncing are configured the way your association needs.
Before You Begin:
- The GrowthZone team will set up the initial integration to SentriLock with your input — you don’t configure this alone.
- Decide ahead of time which identifier (M1 ID, MLS ID, or Custom) you want to use for each lockbox source field.
- If you plan to use M1 ID or MLS ID, confirm those IDs are populated for your agents and offices — the system will prompt you if they are not set.
Step-by-Step Instructions
During the initial setup, the GrowthZone team will configure these options with you. The SentriLock integration settings live at Go to Settings, Real Estate Edition section, click Lockbox Settings. You will decide the following:
- What to use for the Lockbox Office Id Source: You will choose from M1 ID, MLS ID, or Custom. If M1 or MLS are selected, the system will automatically use these IDs and prompt you if these IDs are not set. If you select Custom, you will populate your own unique ID each time you activate an agent or office with SentriLock.
- What to use for the Lockbox User Name Source: You will choose from M1 ID, MLS ID, or Custom. If M1 or MLS are selected, the system will automatically use these IDs and prompt you if these IDs are not set. If you select Custom, you will populate your own unique ID each time you activate an agent or office with SentriLock.
- What to use for the Lockbox External Id Source: You will choose M1 ID, MLS ID, or Custom. If M1 or MLS are selected, the system will automatically use these IDs and prompt you if these IDs are not set. If you select Custom, you will populate your own unique ID each time you activate an agent or office with SentriLock.
- Will you “Use Membership Status To Determine Lockbox Status”: If you choose this option, LockBox Member Status will automatically be updated based on the status of the membership with your association. For example, if an agent has an active membership with your association and a valid SentriLock status, when you drop that member the SentriLock status will automatically be updated to Terminated.
Common Pitfalls
- Choosing M1 or MLS without the IDs in place: If you select M1 ID or MLS ID for a source but those IDs are not populated, the system will prompt you each time. Confirm the IDs exist for your agents and offices, or choose Custom to enter your own unique ID at activation.
