The Goal: Update an attendee’s name and other registration information (such as custom fields) directly from the event’s Attendee tab.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff permission to manage event registrations.
- Have the event open in Events & Learning, Events section, before you start.
- NOTE: Any edits you make in this window will be reflected in the Contact Record. If changing an attendee from one person to another, be sure to select the appropriate contact record after entering the new attendee name/email!

Step-by-Step Instructions
- In the desired event, click the Attendee tab.
- Click the name of the attendee for which you would like to update information.
- Make any desired changes.
- Click Done.
Common Pitfalls
- Overwriting the wrong contact record: Because edits sync back to the Contact Record, changing an attendee’s name without selecting the correct contact can update the wrong person. When swapping one attendee for another, always choose the appropriate contact record after entering the new name/email.
