The Transactions by Contact report can be used to view transactions for specific fee items and payment type. For Example: If you need to pay an outside party (for example NAR) for payments made by check or cash, you can generate this information using the Transactions by Contact with the following filters:
Date Range: Enter the date range for which you wish to report.
Fee Item: Choose the good(s)/service(s) on which you wish to report. In the example, we wish to report on National Dues paid by check or cash
Transaction Type: Choose Payments from the Transaction Type list.
Additional Filter: Payment Type Not Contains Credit
Fields to display: Add Payment Type as this field allows you to validate that only check and cash are included in your results.
