The Goal: View the directory categories available in your system, including the default Contact Business Category list and its internet-standard category items.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to the Settings area to view category lists.
- Directory categories are used when assigning your members to directory categories, so it helps to know how your members are organized.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Select Settings in the left-hand rail.
Click Category Lists in the General Settings section. A list of all categories will be displayed. By default your system is populated with the Contact Business Category. These business categories are available for selection when assigning your members to directory categories.
Click the Business Category hyper-link. A list of internet standard directory categories will be displayed.
Common Pitfalls
- Looking under the wrong area: Category Lists moved to Settings, General Settings section in the v2 navigation. If you cannot find it, confirm you are in Settings in the left-hand rail rather than another rail.
