The Goal: Run upcoming billing after reviewing recalculated pricing and understand what happens to member pricing after the billing run.
Before You Begin:
- Review and approve your recalculated pricing amounts before running billing. See Recalculated Pricing - Review Upcoming Billing Amounts for the review workflow.
Run Upcoming Billing with Recalculated Pricing
After reviewing your upcoming billing and making any needed adjustments, run your upcoming billing as described in Manage Invoices for Upcoming (Recurring) Billing.
What happens after you've run upcoming billing:
- Invoices are created with the prices shown as the Final Renewal Price on the Review Renewal Billing screen.
- The member's scheduled billing is updated with the pricing they were charged. This updated price will show going forward as their pricing.
IMPORTANT: The Amount column in Upcoming Billing displays the currently scheduled amount. The recalculation icon will be displayed next to any amounts that will be recalculated when billing runs.
Common Pitfalls
- Scheduled billing is permanently updated: Once billing runs, the member's scheduled billing is updated to reflect the recalculated price. This becomes their new ongoing price — review carefully before running.
- Recalculation icon indicates pending changes: Always check for the recalculation icon in the Amount column before running billing to confirm which amounts will change.
