The Goal: Set up an Early Registration Discount so attendees who register within a defined window receive a reduced fee for your event.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to create or edit events.
- The event you want to apply the discount to should already exist with its registration fees configured.
- Decide on the discount window: the Available Starting On date/time and the Ends On date/time during which the discount applies.
An Early Registration Discount provides a discount if a registration comes in between the Available Starting On date/time and the Ends On date/time.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Events & Learning, Events section, click All Events.
- Open the event you want to add the discount to, then go to its registration fee setup.
- Add an Early Registration Discount and set the Available Starting On date/time and the Ends On date/time that define when the discount applies.
Registrations received within this window automatically receive the discounted fee. - Click Save to finalize your changes.
Common Pitfalls
- Discount window misalignment: If a registration arrives before the Available Starting On date/time or after the Ends On date/time, the discount will not apply. Double-check both date/times against your registration open date so eligible attendees actually receive the discount.
