The Goal: Update the price of a product that already exists in your Store so future orders reflect the new amount.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff permissions to manage Store products.
- The product must already be added to the Store before its price can be updated.
- Have the new price ready before you start.
| Did you know... The pricing update will only take effect on a go forward. Price changes will not update orders that have already been placed. |
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to Revenue, Store section, click Products.
Click the link for the product you wish to update.
- Enter the new Price for the product.
- Click Done.
Common Pitfalls
- Expecting existing orders to update: Price changes apply only going forward. Orders already placed keep their original price, so do not expect the new price to appear on past or pending orders.
