eMail Settings

Who is this for? Staff and administrators responsible for configuring how your system sends and manages email. There are a variety of settings you will configure to establish how you wish your system to work. You can access these settings on the Email Settings page, available from Marketing & Communication, Communication section, click Settings in the left-hand rail.

Module 1: Sending Identity & Opt-Out Settings

Establish the email address your messages come from and how recipients can opt out of communications. (Est. Time: 20 mins)

• → Configure your Unsubscribe (Opt-out) Message
• → What Happens When an Email Recipient Opts Out
• → Change the Restrictions set on an Email Address

Module 2: Mass Email & Deliverability Controls

Control how mass emails behave and protect your sending reputation and deliverability. (Est. Time: 20 mins)

• → Configure Visibility of E-mail Addresses when sending a Mass E-mail (Email Bulk Mode Threshold)
• → Flood Protection Settings

Module 3: Email Logging & Matching

Capture messages sent outside the system and match them to the right contacts. (Est. Time: 15 mins)

• → Logging Messages sent via Outlook (or other email service)
• → View and Match Un-Matched Emails

Module 4: DNS & Authentication

Authenticate your domain so your emails are trusted and delivered reliably. (Est. Time: 20 mins)

• → Set Up Sender Policy Framework (SPF) Record
• → Verify DNS

Module 5: Messaging, Categories & Subscriptions

Set up automated messaging, organize communications, add signatures, and manage subscriptions. (Est. Time: 25 mins)

• → Automated Messaging
• → Configure Communication Categories
• → Signatures
• → Bulk Unsubscribe

By completing these modules, your email-sending identity, deliverability, logging, authentication, and messaging settings will be configured so your system sends email exactly as your organization intends.
