The Goal: Enable a waiting list for an event so registrations can continue to be captured after your attendee limit is reached.
Before You Begin:
- You need access to create and edit events.
- The event must have a limit set on the number of attendees for the waiting list option to apply.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Events & Learning, Events section, click All Events, then open the event you want to update.
- On the event, click the Attendee Setup tab.
- In the Overall Registration Options section, enable the waiting list option. See Overall Registration Options for instructions.
- Click Save to finalize your changes.
Common Pitfalls
- No attendee limit set: The waiting list only takes effect once registrations exceed the attendee limit. If no limit is defined, registrations will continue normally and no one will be placed on the waiting list.
