The Goal: View the default billing message templates included with your GrowthZone database so you can review their content before sending or editing them.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to the billing settings in your GrowthZone database.
- Know which message template you want to review (for example, an invoice or receipt message).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Click Settings in the left-hand rail.
- Go to Finance, Billing section, click Settings and select Message Templates.
- Click the hyper-link for the message you wish to view.
| NOTE: You may edit an existing message template. However, if edited, a duplicate message template will be created. If you wish to edit, best practice is to enter a new Name for the template to avoid confusion. |
Common Pitfalls
- Accidentally creating duplicates: Editing an existing default template creates a duplicate. Give any edited template a new Name so you can tell them apart.
