The Goal: Increase the pricing of your membership type levels so the new rates apply to memberships going forward.
Before You Begin: You update level pricing from the Membership module, so you will need access to membership type configuration.
NOTE: Price changes will only take effect on a go forward basis. Memberships that have already been assigned, and for which a recurring fees schedule has already been created will NOT be updated. These price changes will need to be done on a case by case basis. See Adjust a Contact's Membership Pricing for instructions.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Click Memberships in the left-hand rail.
- Click Membership Types in the Settings section.
- Click the numbered link, in the Levels column for the desired membership type.
- Click the link(s) for the level(s) that you wish to update.
- Adjust pricing as needed.
- Click Done.
Common Pitfalls
- Expecting existing memberships to update automatically: Price changes only apply on a go-forward basis. Memberships already assigned with a recurring fee schedule are not updated and must be adjusted case by case. See Adjust a Contact's Membership Pricing.
