Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to the Sales Funnel and its settings.
- Decide on the sales sources, stages, status reasons, and reminder rules your team will use before you begin entering them.
- Have your standard sales proposal content ready if you plan to set up a proposal template.
The GrowthZone Sales Funnel is a module that allows you to track the progress of various opportunities from Lead to Win. In this session, participants will learn how to perform the initial setup functions to maximize use of the Sales Funnel.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Review the overview of the Sales Funnel and how opportunities move from Lead to Win.
- Go to Contacts, Sales Funnel section, click Settings to perform the initial setup. Configure the following, in order:
- Sales Sources
- Sales Stages
- Sales Opportunity
- Status Reasons
- Auto-reminders
- Time-line Items
- Set up your Sales Proposal Template.
- Click Save to finalize each setting as you go.
Common Pitfalls
- Skipping the setup order: Sales Sources, Stages, and Status Reasons underpin everything else in the funnel. Configure them first so your opportunities, reminders, and timeline items have the values they depend on.
