Step-by-Step Instructions
When individuals move from one business to another, follow these steps:
- Delete the individual's Info Hub access as described in Delete an Individual's Info Hub Access.
- Deactivate the individual as described in Deactivate an Individual Contact with a Business.
- Associate the individual to the new organization as described in Add Individuals to Business/Organization.
- Resend login instructions to the individual as described in Provide Info Hub Access.
Common Pitfalls
- Skipping the access removal step: If you do not delete the individual's Info Hub access before deactivating them under the old business, they may retain access tied to the previous organization. Always remove access first.
