The Goal: Override a member's recalculated renewal price from the Review Upcoming Billing screen before running billing.
Before You Begin:
- IMPORTANT: When you change the Membership Renewal Pricing from this screen, it sets the selected option "for all time," not just for this upcoming billing run. You will always have the opportunity to change it again when reviewing upcoming billing in the future.
- Review your recalculations as described in Recalculated Pricing - Review Upcoming Billing Amounts before making overrides.
Override Renewal Pricing from Review Upcoming Billing
- Review your recalculations as described in Recalculated Pricing - Review Upcoming Billing Amounts.
- Click the hyperlinked membership for the desired member on the review screen.
- In the Edit Membership Renewal Pricing dialog, choose Do Not Recalculate.
- Click Done. The review screen will display No in the Modified column for that member.
Common Pitfalls
- Override is permanent — not just for this billing run: Selecting Do Not Recalculate here locks in that pricing decision for all future billing cycles until changed. If you only want to skip recalculation for this one billing run, be aware that you will need to revisit this setting before your next billing cycle.
- Modified column confirmation: After overriding, confirm the Modified column shows No for the member on the review screen. If it still shows Yes, the override may not have saved — retry before running billing.
