The Goal: Permanently delete a List/Committee from your database when inactivating it is not an option.
Before You Begin:
- We do not recommend that you delete Lists/Committees from your database. Best practice, if you are no longer using a list, is to inactivate the list instead. See the related article on inactivating a list.
- Deletion cannot be reversed on your own — be certain this is the list you want to remove before you continue.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Contacts, click All Lists/Committees.
- Click the hyper-link for the desired list.
- Click the
icon in the header.
- Click Delete List.
- In the confirmation box, type DELETE to validate that you wish to delete the list.
- Click OK. The list is now deleted.
Common Pitfalls
IMPORTANT! Deleting the wrong list: Be certain you are deleting the appropriate list/committee, as you will not be able to reverse the deletion. Our support team can reverse the deletion, but you will incur a charge for us to do so.
