The Goal: Review the list of members with scheduled billing for the current (or selected) month before running upcoming billing to confirm who will receive invoices and apply any needed filters.
Before You Begin:
- IMPORTANT: Applying filtering options limits the list of invoices that will be created. Only invoices displayed by your filters will be included when you run upcoming billing. At a minimum, a month must be selected from the Show Only options to enable the Run Upcoming Billing option.
- Members must have a scheduled billing assigned on their contact's Billing tab to appear in this list.
View Members Eligible for Upcoming Billing
- Go to Finance, Billing section, click Upcoming Billing. A list of all members with scheduled billing, filtered to the current month, will be displayed. From this page, you can review the scheduled billing assigned to each member on their contact's Billing tab.
- Use the filter options to narrow the list to the desired members by using the filter icons.
- Review the results to confirm which members will be invoiced when upcoming billing is run.
Common Pitfalls
- Filters Restrict Which Invoices Are Created: Any filters applied on the Upcoming Billing page directly limit the invoices that will be generated. If you have accidentally applied a filter, members not matching the filter criteria will be excluded from the billing run.
- Month Must Be Selected to Enable Run: The Run Upcoming Billing button will not be available unless at least a month is selected in the Show Only filter. Always confirm your month selection before proceeding.
