The Goal: Watch a specific Forum topic in the Info Hub so you automatically receive notifications whenever new comments or replies are posted to it.
Before You Begin:
- You must be a logged-in member with access to the Info Hub Forum.
- The Forum must be enabled for your organization (a staff administrator can confirm this under Settings, Advanced Settings section, Forum General Settings).
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Open the Forum in the Info Hub and locate the topic you want to follow.
- To watch a topic, click the unwatched
icon. Topics that are being watched display the watching
icon.

- A comment is posted to the topic.
- A reply has been made to a comment that has been posted to that topic.
Common Pitfalls
- Expecting to set notification preferences separately: Notifications are sent based on the member's contact preferences. When you choose to watch a topic, if you have not yet opted in to notifications, preferences for Forum notifications are selected for you automatically — you do not have to do this as an extra step.
