Step-by-Step Instructions
At times your contacts may not wish to display certain email addresses to the public, but wish to use the eMail address for administrative purposes. To mark an eMail address as internal only:
For the desired contact, click the Overview tab.
Pencil icon of email address Click the pencil icon for the eMail address that you wish to mark as internal only.
Edit email address - Tick the For Internal use only check-box.
- Click Done.
Common Pitfalls
- Marking the wrong address: A contact can have several eMail addresses. Confirm you clicked the pencil icon next to the specific address you want to keep private before ticking For Internal use only.
