M1 requires that an M1 ID be sent with every eCommerce transaction it receives, without exception. To satisfy this requirement, GrowthZone is configured with a default M1 ID (it is suggested that a staff member ID is used) in case a customer attempts to process a transaction and does not possess their own ID. This setting must be configured by your GrowthZone onboarding manager.
GrowthZone will attempt to send the payer's M1 ID whenever possible, but if unable, will apply the association's default M1 ID. The logic is as follows (click to enlarge):
There may be instances where an office manager will not have an M1 ID of their own but who will need to make a payment towards a broker or other agents' annual REALTOR® dues. The office manager should log into the Info Hub with the broker's credentials (the broker has an M1 ID) in order to make the payment.
