The Goal: Re-enable a previously disabled staff user log-in so the user can sign in again with their existing user name and password.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff access to manage Staff & User Access settings.
- The staff user log-in must currently be disabled (you are re-enabling it).
Step-by-Step Instructions
If you have disabled a staff user log-in, you can easily re-enable it:
- In the left-hand rail, select Settings.
- Click Staff Users in the Staff & User Access section.
On the Staff Users tab, click the Enable Login icon
for the desired staff user. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to enable the login.
- Click OK.
The status of this user will now be displayed as Active and the user will be able to use the same user name and password used previously.
Common Pitfalls
- Looking in the wrong place: The Enable Login icon lives on the Staff Users tab under Settings, Staff & User Access section — not on the user's contact record.
