The Goal: Understand how office updates are automatically synced to your MLS once Sync with MLS is enabled, and where to manage your MLS connection in the v2 navigation.
Before You Begin:
- Your database must be on the Real Estate Edition with a standard MLS integration in place.
- Sync with MLS must be enabled for the office records you want to keep in sync.
- Review Data Sent to MLS Standard Integration for Offices so you know which fields are transmitted to the MLS.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Settings, Real Estate Edition section, click MLS Settings to confirm your MLS connection and that Sync with MLS is enabled.
- Open the office record you need to update and edit any of the fields listed in Data Sent to MLS Standard Integration for Offices.
- Click Save to finalize your changes. When Sync with MLS is enabled, any updates made to the data described in that article will automatically be sent to the MLS, with no further interaction on your part. The frequency at which updates are sent to your MLS depends on the MLS that you are using.
Common Pitfalls
- Expecting instant updates: Updates are not always immediate — the frequency at which changes are pushed depends on the schedule of the MLS you are connected to. If a change has not appeared yet, allow time for the next sync cycle before assuming an error.
