The Goal: Use the Divider tool in the Email Designer to add styled horizontal lines that organize and add visual structure to your newsletter.
Before You Begin:
- You need access to the Email Designer in Marketing & Communication, Communication section.
- Have an Email Designer template open in edit mode so you can drag tools onto your document.
Email Designer Tools are basic content elements that are used to design your templates. Text, images, and buttons are some examples of the built-in tools. To start using these tools, you will simply drag them into your newsletter to add content. Content formatting options are displayed when a tool is added to your document.

Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to Marketing & Communication, Communication section, click Email Designer and open the template you want to edit.
- Drag and drop the Divider tool into your newsletter.
- Click anywhere on the divider to open the editing tool.
- Adjust the thickness, length, and padding of the divider lines to style the horizontal line and organize your content.
Common Pitfalls
- Editing options not appearing: The thickness, length, and padding controls only display after you click directly on the divider you placed. If you do not see them, click the divider line itself to open the editing tool.
