The Goal: Deactivate an agent in your MLS Standard Integration so the inactive status is automatically synced to your MLS.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff permissions to edit agent records in the Real Estate Edition.
- Your MLS Standard Integration must be configured and connected (Settings, Real Estate Edition section, MLS Settings).
- Have the agent’s contact record open and ready.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- For the desired agent, click the Real Estate tab.
- In the MLS Information section, click the
icon.
- Ensure that Sync with MLS is enabled.
Select Inactive from the status list.
- Click Done.
The agent status change will now be sent to your MLS with no further interaction on your part. The frequency at which updates are processed depends on the MLS you are using.
Common Pitfalls
- Sync with MLS left disabled: If Sync with MLS is not enabled before you set the status to Inactive, the deactivation will not be transmitted to your MLS. Confirm the toggle is on before clicking Done.
