The Goal: Add a Pricing Description to your event so potential registrants can see ticket prices on the event details page before they reach the registration page.
Before You Begin:
- You need staff permissions to edit events.
- Your event must already be created. Go to Events & Learning, Events section, click All Events to find it.
- The Pricing Description is optional. If left empty, it does not appear on the event details page; if completed, it appears at the very top of the right pane of the event details page.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Open your event and click the Overview tab. The Pricing Description section is in the right pane, towards the bottom.
Click the edit pencil to add a Pricing Description to your event details page.
- Enter the pricing details you want registrants to see.
Click Done to save your changes. The Pricing Description will now appear on your event details page.
Common Pitfalls
Leaving the description blank: If you leave the Pricing Description empty, it simply does not appear on the event details page at all. Add content if you want registrants to see pricing before the registration page.
