Before You Begin:
- You need access to Memberships, Benefits section in the left-hand rail to follow along with these videos in your own database.
- Each video opens in Screencast in a new tab — allow pop-ups if your browser blocks the link.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Watch Event benefit setup and use (4 min video) to learn how to set up and apply event benefits.
NOTE: This video was recorded prior to December 2024. This means a few new features have been added. We can now make benefits available to a registrant without logging in by applying them if their email address matches. We can now also select Benefit Users in addition to the primary contact. - Watch Analyzing your Benefit Usage (1 min video) to review how benefits are being used.
- Watch Reporting/Email Benefit Details for members (2 min video) to report on and email benefit details to members.
- Watch Email Benefits remaining to member (2 min video) to send members their remaining benefit balances.
- Watch Troubleshooting Benefit items (5 min video) to diagnose issues with benefit items.
NOTE: This video was recorded prior to December 2024. This means a few new features have been added; however, the general concept described here is still helpful for troubleshooting benefits assigned to a membership. Benefits can now be assigned without tying them to a membership, but this video will help with benefits associated with a membership.
Common Pitfalls
- Assuming older videos are fully current: Two of these videos were recorded prior to December 2024 and predate newer benefit features (such as email-matched benefits without login, Benefit Users, and benefits assigned without a membership). Use the on-screen NOTES as your guide to what has changed since recording.
