App Overview
The GrowthZone App for Staff is a mobile point-of-sale (POS) application that enables organizations to process payments and manage sales transactions using Stripe's payment processing system. The app integrates with GrowthZone's backend services to handle user data, payment processing, and transaction management.
NOTE: Only the Stripe M2 Reader is compatible with the new GrowthZone App for Staff. If you have an existing reader that is not the M2 Reader, you will need to purchase one of the M2 Readers.

Downloading the App
The app is available for United States-based GrowthZone customers.

Limitations
- Payments in the app do not respect “Force ACH” limit or card brand restrictions.
- Payments in the app do not follow Payment Gateways configured on Fee Items (i.e., split payments).
- Only available for customers in the United States.
Before Using the GrowthZone App for Staff
Before you can use the GrowthZone App for Staff, you need to configure two items in your database. You'll need to select a payment gateway for payments collected via the app and identify which fee items you want to collect payments for.
- Set a Default Payment Gateway.
- Go to Finance > Billing Settings > Payment Gateways.
- Click on the 'pencil icon' on the payment gateway you would like to use in the app.
- Check the Default Gateway for Point of Sale App checkbox.
- Click Done to save your changes.
- Configuring Fee Items.
- Go to Finance > Billing Settings > Fee Items.
- Click on the name of the Fee Item you want to edit.
- Check the Available in Point of Sale App checkbox.
- Click Done to save your changes.
Important: If you immediately return to the GrowthZone App for Staff after making this change, you may need to force quit the app and re-launch it. If no fee items are marked for use in the GrowthZone App for Staff, a message with a link to a help page will appear within the app.
