The Goal: Connect your existing AffiniPay account to GrowthZone so members’ payments are processed through AffiniPay.
Before You Begin:
- AffiniPay is available only to organizations that already use AffiniPay (including LawPay, ClientPay, CPACharge and DesignPay).
- Fees apply for using an alternate gateway. Contact gzsupport@growthzone.com; once the fee agreement is signed, GrowthZone creates the AffiniPay gateway for you.
- Have the email address and password for your AffiniPay account ready.
Connect AffiniPay
- Go to Finance, Administrative section, click Billing Settings and select Payment Gateways.
- Find the AffiniPay gateway GrowthZone created and click its edit icon.
- Click Connect with AffiniPay.
- Sign in with your AffiniPay email address and password. Once AffiniPay confirms the login, your account is connected and payments in GrowthZone go through AffiniPay.
What works with AffiniPay
- Stored credit cards, Autopay, and requiring Autopay on a membership type.
- Stored bank accounts, once bank account storage is enabled in your AffiniPay account.
- Refunds go back through AffiniPay.
- Not available: payments through the GrowthZone apps and card reader (these need GrowthZone Pay).
- Reporting on your AffiniPay transactions is in your AffiniPay portal.
Common Pitfalls
- Can’t find the gateway: GrowthZone must create it first, after the fee agreement is signed.
- Card declined or processor questions: contact AffiniPay; they are both your merchant account and gateway.
