Reporting on NRDS Data

The Goal: Build a Contacts Report that surfaces the NRDS information populated on the Real Estate tab — for example, a list of all active REALTOR®-type agents with their NRDS ID and license number.

Before You Begin:

  • You need access to the Reports area.
  • Your database must be using the Real Estate Edition with the M1 Sync, so that NRDS data is populated on the Real Estate tab.
  • Know which fields you want in your report (e.g., NRDS ID, NRDS Status, NRDS License Number, Member Type).

Step-by-Step Instructions

The Contacts Report will allow you to create reports containing the NRDS Information that is populated on the Real Estate tab.

Example: you need a report of all REALTOR®-type active agents, with NRDS ID and License number. To generate this report:

  1. Click Reports in the left-hand rail.
  2. Click Contacts Report.

  3. Add an additional filter of Member Type equals R and the following fields to display (at a minimum) to your report: NRDS ID, NRDS Status, NRDS License Number, Member Type.

  4. Click Run Report.

Use the ellipsis menu next to the Run Report button to export your report results, save your report, or add the saved report to your favorites.

REALTOR®-Specific Fields

You can use the Fields to Display area to review the REALTOR®-specific fields available to filter/display in the report. There are MANY fields available to report on! Search for “real” to find:

  • Real Estate - Contact Info: This will show the information noted as Contact Info on the Real Estate tab in the M1 Sync.
  • Realtors: more fields specific to REALTORS® from the Real Estate tab.
  • Realtors - Individual: agent-specific fields.
  • Realtors - Organization: brokerage or office-specific fields.

Common Report Functions

Common Pitfalls

  • No NRDS fields appear: If the NRDS-specific fields are missing from Fields to Display, confirm your database is using the Real Estate Edition with the M1 Sync — NRDS data only populates when the sync is in place.
  • Empty results: The Member Type equals R filter only returns REALTOR®-type agents. If you expect more contacts, double-check the filter value and any other filters applied to the report.
