Review the M1 Education Error Log

Updated

What this does: Shows education sync errors from M1 (the National Association of REALTORS® membership system) so you can fix or clear them.

Applies to: GrowthZone Real Estate Edition only. Staff need access to Settings.

Before you start: Your M1 integration must be set up and syncing.

Time needed: About 5 minutes to review. Fixes clear on the next sync.

Open the M1 Education error log

  1. Go to Settings, Real Estate Error Logs section, click M1 Education. The page opens as M1 Education.
M1 Education selected in the Real Estate Error Logs section of Settings, with the M1 Education page open.
  2. Type a contact name or part of a message in the Search box to narrow the list.
What appears here: Each row is one of your education records that M1 sent but GrowthZone could not update during the sync. Education records sync with their own sub queue, so they have their own log. Only errors your staff can fix, or that are for your information, appear in this log. When you fix the record, the error clears on the next sync.

Fix an error

Read the full message, correct the record, then let the next sync clear it.

  1. In the error's row, use the Actions column to view the full alert message.

  2. Open the contact named in the Contact Name column and correct the record the message describes. Some fixes have to be made in M1 instead of GrowthZone.
  3. Wait for the next sync. A corrected error drops off the log on its own.

Download the error log

Download the log as a CSV (comma-separated values) file to share with the staff who make the corrections.

  1. Click the Download button in the bottom-right corner of the table.
The Download button sits in the bottom-right corner of the error log table.
  2. Open the CSV file from your browser's downloads.

Delete an error that does not apply

Delete an error only when it does not apply to you or is a known exception your staff cannot fix.

  1. In the error's row, use the Actions column to delete the error.

  2. Confirm the deletion if prompted.

Change the columns

Choose which columns show and how much of each value you see.

  1. Click the Table Settings button (the gear) in the bottom-left corner of the table.
The Table Settings dialog lists each column with a Show toggle and a Display setting.
  2. Use the Show toggle to show or hide a column. Drag a row by its handle to change the column order.
  3. In Display, choose Truncate (cut long values short), Wrap (show the full value over several lines) or Full. We recommend Wrap for Alert Message.
  4. Click Done.

Common pitfalls

  • Deleting errors you can fix: Deleting a fixable error hides the sync problem instead of solving it. Fix the record and let the next sync clear the error.
  • Looking in the wrong log: Office, agent and education errors each have their own log. If you can't find an error, check the other logs listed in Review Real Estate Edition Error Logs.
