Transfer an Agent to Your Board
print icon

When an agent wishes to transfer to your board you will perform the transfer on the Real Estate tab. This function should NOT be used when you are transfering an agent from one office to another.

  1. If the agent does not have a record in GrowthZone, create a contact record for them with only their first and last name, and add them to the appropriate office in GrowthZone. Save that record.
  2. In the agent's GrowthZone contact record, click the Real Estate tab.
  3. Use the Search M1 button to find the agent's record in M1. Select the Use Suggested option, select the desired agent (make sure their "Is Active" status is Yes), and click Done. GrowthZone will begin pulling the agent information from M1 to populate the contact record. THIS MAY TAKE A FEW MINUTES! BE PATIENT!

  4. Once the record is populated, on the Real Estate tab, click the transfer icon  in the M1 Information section. This icon will only be displayed if you are not the POE for the agent.

  5. Click Done on the M1 Transfer Confirmation screen.

Once the transfer has finished processing, your Association ID and POE Association will be displayed in the M1 Information section, and the edit pencil will be available for editing this information. Verify that all information is correct, and update as needed. If the transfer is not successful, an error message will be displayed.

IMPORTANT: When an agent is transferred from one primary local to another one, if the member was active (Status A or P) at the time of the transfer, M1 automatically creates a secondary record for this member, in your system, with the previous primary association’s Association ID. A POE should review the member secondary record on a regular basis as they may want to send a change to inactive for some secondary records.
