Change Individual Access Level (In Bulk)

A contact's individual access level (to the Info Hub) can be changed in bulk using the Change Individual Access Level data tool.

 

  1. Select Setup in the left-hand navigation panel.
  2. Click Set Contact Primary Access Level in the Data Tools section.  NOTE: If you have changed system terminology your term for individuals will be applied.
  3. On the Change Individual Access Level screen use the  to filter the list of contacts as needed. For example, you may wish to filter to a specific contact type (priimary v. non primary as shown in the screenshot below). When this tool is run all contacts on your list (as filtered) will be updated.
  4. Click Update Roles
  5. On the Access Level Mass Update Contact screen, choose the Access Level to be assigned to all contacts in your filtered list.
  6. Click Change Access Levels.

 

 

TIP! If wanting to set primary contacts at a different level than the non-primary contacts, set the access level of all contacts first, then run a 2nd update filtered to all primary contacts after that.
