M1 Integration Initial Setup Considerations

Upon installation of the software, you will work with your onboarding project manager to configure the settings necessary to seamlessly integrate with M1. Some initial setup considerations include:

  • Do you wish to tie M1 ID to Account Number? Under the name of an agent or office is an account number field. You can set up your system to display the M1 ID.

  • What is the beginning number for your M1 IDs? When adding new agents and offices, you will be able to request an M1 ID. The system will issue the next M1 ID, starting from your beginning number, to save you time and ensure no duplication.

  • Which M1 ID is to be used for NAR eCommerce when a purchaser does not have a M1 ID? NRDS requires that an M1 ID be sent with every e-commerce transaction it receives, without exception. To satisfy this requirement, GrowthZone is configured with a default NRDS ID (it is suggested that a staff member ID is used)  in case a customer attempts to process a transaction and does not possess their own ID. This setting must be configured by your GrowthZone onboarding manager.

  • Do you wish to link Membership status to M1, MLS, and LockBox? To save time, you can set up rules to be applied to M1, MLS, and LockBox status when you suspend, deactivate, reactivate, or drop an agent's membership. See Link M1, MLS, LockBox status to Membership Status for further details.

  • Do you wish to see the other associations to which your agents or offices are associated? If you would like to know of other associations, the Process/Import Other Active Association(s) setting will be enabled under Real Estate Edition Settings.
